I read every brief that lands in this inbox. Not an assistant, not a router — me, with a coffee, between two calls. If your project isn't a fit, you'll hear back from me within five business days with a short reason and, when I can, a name of someone who might be a better match.
If it is a fit, you'll get a short reply from me proposing a 30-minute intake call. No deck, no pitch, no NDA signed over email. We talk about the work, the budget band you've written below, and whether the Guild is the right room for it. From that call, either we agree to a six-to-twelve month engagement or we part as colleagues.
No multi-stage funnels. No "let's hop on a discovery sprint." Just a letter, a call, and a decision.

Read these before you fill in the form. They are not marketing copy — they are how the Guild has worked since 2017, written plainly so neither of us wastes an afternoon.

The Guild takes on shipped-not-slides work.
We embed with founding teams to ship a real product surface — a launch, a redesign, a design system, a critical path. We do not produce pitch decks, speculative prototypes, vendor evaluations, or "discovery sprints" with an unstated objective. If your project is a brief that ends in a slide, this is not the right room.

Six-to-twelve month engagements, sized at 24 people.
The collective is twenty-four members across nine countries. Engagements run between six and twelve months, embedded with your team, on a retainer. We are not a contractor marketplace, a staffing firm, or an agency — and we do not pretend to be one to win a deal. Engagements shorter than six months almost never produce work we'd put our name on.

Every project ships with a public case study.
The Guild holds an explicit anti-NDA policy with clients. Every engagement ships with a written, public case study unless there is a genuine legal reason it cannot — and we will tell you on the intake call if your project falls into that narrow category. If your business depends on a sealed engagement we cannot talk about, we will politely refer you elsewhere.

You will hear back within five business days.
Every submission gets a written reply from me — a yes, a no, or a request for one more piece of context. The intake call itself is thirty minutes, no slides, and recorded only with your consent. If we agree to work together, a written scope and retainer follow within a week; if we don't, the conversation ends cleanly and without follow-up sequences.

Anti-NDA policy, in full
Every engagement the Guild enters ships with a written, public case study — published on this site under /work within sixty days of the engagement's close. The only exceptions are projects where a public case study would breach a genuine legal obligation: a regulated financial product still in a quiet period, a healthcare surface subject to HIPAA, work performed for a publicly-listed company inside an earnings blackout. Every exception is named in writing before the engagement begins. The Guild has never signed an NDA that prevents it from describing its own work in general terms.
